Rosemary Essential Oil

Rosemary was considered sacred by ancient Romans and Greeks. I love it as a spice for cooking with chicken but as an essential oil it offers amazing healing and digestive properties for pains.

Oil Properties: Antibacterial, analgesic, anticancer, anticatarrhal, anti-infectious, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and expectorant.

Historically Oil Uses: Rosemary essential oil has an amazing story where it was used by grave robbers to protect against the black plague. It was also used to ward off dark and evil spirits.

Possible Oil Uses: Rosemary essential oil can help with bronchitis, colds,  arteriosclerosis, chills, cystitis, nervous exhaustion, colitis, dyspepsia, flu, otitis, oily hair,  palpitations, sour stomach, respiratory  infections, sinusitis, stress-related illnesses and acts to boost the immune system.

Oil Applications:

  • Topically – It can be applied topically to the skin.
  • Internally – Take internally with gel capsules or with your food and drink.
  • Aromatically – You can defuse rosemary essential oil  for its aromatic benefits.
