Using Essential Oils for Skin Conditions like Eczema

Do you or a family member suffer from Eczema or other difficult skin conditions? Try these essential oils which offer qualities to promote your body’s own healing arts.

Lavender is great for the skin, and the major plus to Lavender is that it is an all around first aid kit in a bottle.  It works for almost everything!  If you are not sure where to start with essential oils try lavender. If offers calming, soothing for skin, cuts, burns, and ear aches. Buying a lavender scented cream or lavender oils won’t cut it, essential oils from Doterra are the purest form of oils on the planet and they can cure everything short of cancer…for now…and the oils are totally safe and most can be used topically, internally and aromatic.  The only place you wouldn’t want to put them is on your eye-ball!

Melaleuca essential oil is probably one of the best things specifically for skin treatments.  It’s revered for its cleansing and regenerative properties, especially for the skin.

Geranium offers outstanding benefits for soothing skin and is a common ingredient in many skin care products for which people pay big bucks. It is useful for joint support and relieving minor aches and pains, geranium’s calming effects make it a popular choice for many essential oil users. It can be used aromatically or topically.

Coconut oil is what I use with all of the oils that I apply topically.  It helps it spread further so I get more use out of my oils.  Coconut oil in itself is amazing for skin. Coconut Oil isn’t greasy and won’t clog pores.

Find out where to buy essential oils and experience their healing arts.

Psoriasis can be quite and irritation and discomfort. Try a Blend of 2 drops lavender and 2 drops Roman chamomile on the affected skin. Other oils to support and alleviate the area are helichrysum, melaleuca, bergamot, and thyme.

  3. I use Doterra’s Lavender Essential Oil mixed in with lotion for my daughter’s Eczema. It works wonders!
